To train the eye to understand figures in a space I found it useful to start using mediums that aren't particularly nice. Like, spray-paint for example. Spray-paint, charcoal and pastels are among the messier materials. When you develop a working method, however, it can yield beautiful results. The gold frame is optional and dimensions are 18"x24"
